Exercise of The Week: Slalom

As I was looking for new exercises I stumbled upon this one from Women’s Health. It looked easy (don’t be deceived!) so I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed! What made this even more fun for me is that it challenges your coordination. I am not the most coordinated person in the world, so I like to push my limits. All jokes aside, when my family hears a loud noise in the house they automatically yell out to see if I fell. It is not my fault that I can trip over lint 🙂 Anyway, back to the exercise! How do you do this?

You are going to start with your feet together. Now bend down and try to reach your right hand to the floor. You should now look like A.  (here comes the part where you need a little coordination). The next step requires you to do this all in one motion…swing both of your hands in front of you with your elbows bent while jumping to the left. You should hopefully look like B or as close to it as possible. Land and immediately bend your knees. Now reach your left hand down to the floor. You should look like C. That’s it! It might sound complicated (and gives a great workout) but it is kind of fun to do. Add this to your workout to spice it up. Do as many of these as you can in 20-30 seconds.

About Eunice

I like to joke that I am "a well of useless information" but for once I can share that information with people that might want to listen. I love trying new things and now I have an audience to share it with...hopefully. I hope you enjoy what you read :)
