Beauty Is NOT In The Eye Of The Scale Holder

Ok so the title was a horrible attempt at a pun, but I think you get the idea. If you only consider yourself beautiful once you reach a certain weight you are doing yourself an injustice. If you can’t love yourself at the weight you are at, you will never love yourself at a lower weight. Lumping yourself and others into a category of “not beautiful” because you are not a certain weight is insane. Beauty is made up of so much more than what a scale could ever tell you! My mother always told me that true beauty comes from the inside not the outside, and that is so true. The thing is I challenge you to take it a step further…don’t just use this as a rule for others…use it for yourself!

Start realizing that you are special and beautiful and that nothing the scale says can take that away from you. If you accept yourself for who you are, and start focusing on being happy and healthy everything else will line up! Stop focusing on a number on that scale, focus on your health and realize that no matter what size pants you wear you are STILL beautiful and amazing. There are over 6.4 billion people in this world and no other person will be exactly like you! Embrace it! You are special, wonderful, and beautiful! Don’t let anyone take that away from you…especially a little machine with numbers on it!

I like to joke that I am "a well of useless information" but for once I can share that information with people that might want to listen. I love trying new things and now I have an audience to share it with...hopefully. I hope you enjoy what you read :)
