Why Bother Working Out?

Everyone’s motivation for exercising is different but that motivation is what will determine the difference between success and failure.  You need to evaluate why you are going to do this: health, strength, endurance, a healthy heart, to prevent cancer or diabetes, to prepare for the zombie apocalypse etc. It doesn’t matter what the reason is, as long as it is important to you. If you find it hard to motivate yourself than create a list for yourself explaining why you are trying to be fit. Put this list somewhere that you will see it everyday. When you are having a rough day and don’t feel like working out just look at this list. Most importantly, don’t give up! Everyone has days where they don’t want to go to the gym or workout at home, it’s ok. Just try. It takes 21 days to create a habit, don’t give up. And if you do mess up it’s ok. Be patient with yourself. Love yourself.  Just keep moving forward 🙂
